Near East University Hospital Cardiovascular Surgery Intensive Care Unit monitors the patient’s heartbeat, rhythm (ECG ST analysis if necessary), arterial blood pressure (systolic, diastolic), the percentage of oxygen in the blood, respiratory functions, body temperature, ETCO2 if necessary, hourly bleeding, amount of urinating, the parameters of the respiratory device and arterial blood gasses are monitored at certain intervals. The intensive care unit conducts extra corporeal organ support applications (ECMO, ECLS), CRRT and dialysis, medically treats patients with heart failure and gives medical support with its advanced technological equipment. The latest technologic devices are used in cases of respiratory failure. Patients who require a multidisciplinary approach are given consultation support by specialist doctors from all medical branches that provide services in our hospital.
