Minister of Labor and Social Security Hasan Taçoy, who was treated at the Near East University Hospital on Friday, April 21, was discharged

Minister Taçoy was treated at the Near East University Hospital with the diagnosis of transient ischemic attack, also known as minor stroke.

Minister of Labor and Social Security, Hasan Taçoy, who was treated at the Near East University Hospital on April 21, the first day of the holiday, was discharged today after four days of treatment.

Hasan Taçoy, who applied to the Near East University Hospital Emergency Service with complaints such as dizziness, weakness and difficulty speaking, was hospitalized for precautionary purposes. Hasan Taçoy, whose first examinations were carried out by the Neurosurgery and Neurology teams of the Near East University Hospital, was treated with the diagnosis of “transient ischemic attack – minor stroke”. The Minister of Labor and Social Security Hasan Taçoy’s treatment was carried out by Near East University Hospital Neurology Specialist Dr. Nurhak Demir, and after regaining his health Taçoy was discharged today in the evening.

Before being discharged from the Near East University Hospital, the checks of Taçoy, who also went through the cardiology and radiology departments, will continue in the coming days.

Stating that Minister of Labor and Social Security Hasan Taçoy applied to the Near East University Hospital with complaints such as dizziness, weakness and difficulty in speaking on Friday, April 21, Near East University Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Müfit C. Yenen said, “Our Minister of Labor and Social Security, Mr. Hasan Taçoy, was treated with the diagnosis of transient ischemic attack, also called minor stroke, after the first examinations by our Brain and Nerve Surgery and Neurology teams.”

Stating that the “transient ischemic attack” is a clinical picture that develops as a result of the regional decrease in blood flow to the brain and the inability to feed the brain tissue, Prof. Dr. Müfit C. Yenen said, “Mr. Hasan Taçoy, was discharged from our hospital as he regained his health after four days of treatment carried out by one of our neurologists, Dr. Nurhak Demir.”
