Doctors and healthcare professionals of Near East Enterprises Hospitals and academicians who train future healthcare professionals at Near East University and University of Kyrenia celebrated March 14 Medicine Day together at the magnificent night held at the Cyprus Car Museum. Medicine Day, of which origins date back to March 14, 1827, when modern medical education began, brought together hundreds of people working at all levels of the field of healthcare.

Near East University, which trains the health professionals of the future in the faculties of medicine, nursing, dentistry, health sciences, pharmacy and veterinary medicine and the vocational school of health services, continues to meet the modern health service needs of the TRNC with its university hospitals in Nicosia, Kyrenia and Yeniboğaziçi.

At the night that brought together hundreds of healthcare professionals in the field of education and practice, Near East Enterprises Board of Trustees Chairman Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel, Near East Enterprises Board of Trustees Member and Hospitals Board Chairman Mehmet Soykurt, Near East University Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ, Near East University Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Salih Müjdat Balkan and artificial intelligence-based academician AI Prof. DUX celebrated March 14 Medicine Day of all healthcare workers.

On March 14 Medicine Day, celebrated by the doctors and employees of Near East University Hospital, Dr. Suat Günsel University of Kyrenia Hospital and Near East University Hospital Yeniboğaziçi and Near East University Dental Hospital, Dr. Suat Günsel University of Kyrenia Dental Hospital and Near East University Animal Hospital, plaques were presented to 226 employees who completed 10 years in hospitals affiliated with the Near East Enterprises. During the night, which included various activities, healthcare workers had a fun night accompanied by live music.
