Pediatric Rheumatology is the field that deals with rheumatologic diseases of childhood. Rheumatic diseases in childhood are genetically inherited or acquired. The majority of these diseases are auto inflammatory diseases. Many organ involvements may also accompany these diseases affecting the joints.
