Forensic Medicine is a branch of medicine which is the combination of law and medicine and conducts and researches the issues related to forensics in the medical sciences.

At Near East University Hospital, several cases have been examined and reported while more than 150 judicial autopsies were carried out as part of the death investigations conducted at the request of the TRNC Ministry of Health and Judicial Police units.
