Female Urology

The problems that female urology deals with include: urinary incontinence, vaginal prolapse, pelvic and bladder pain syndromes, sexual dysfunctions and diagnosis and the treatment of other urinary problems. As well as diagnosing and evaluating these diseases, the treatment of these diseases with medical and surgical methods is also conducted at our hospital.

Nerve transmission defects due to stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and spinal cord injuries can cause function defects in the bladder, particularly the lower urinary system. The function defects in the bladder and the anatomic structure at the entrance of the bladder can cause an extremely active bladder, difficulty in holding in urine, urinary incontinence, or the inability to urinate. Our hospital provides the services of diagnosing and treating adults and children who have urinary incontinence and other similar defects due to neurological diseases or other causes.

Reconstructive urology, which involves surgical reconstructions to help the normal functions of the urinary and reproductive tract systems, is a combined approach involving the departments of plastic surgery and urology. The diagnosis and treatment of congenital urologic defects that cause problems when urinating and which require reconstructive surgery, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of trauma and urethral narrowness are conducted successfully at our hospital.
