TURKISH CYPRIOT LEADER RAUF RAIF DENKTASH DIED

We as the Cyprus Near East University Hospital are very sorry to announce that the former president of Turkish North Cyprus Mr Rauf Raif Denktash has passed away today at around .... am in our hospital.Mr Denktash have been under heavy treatment at the Near East University Hospital since 24th May after he suffered a serious stroke.He was released in july and went to Turkey for rehabilitation. He returned to Near East university Hospital when his situation turned critical on 30th August.He was under heavy treatment by a group of specialist doctors. Despite all the advanced medical care provided he died today at the age of 87.Near East University Hospital give condolonces to all the family and the Turkish Cypriot community.
