Assistant Prof. Dr. İlker İpekdal and Assistant Prof. Dr. Amber Eker from the Department of Neurology of the Near East Hospital, placed emphasis on importance of early intervention in saving life and shortening the period of treatment in the cases of cerebral bleeding. Dr. İpekdal and Dr. Eker pointed out that in the cases that the reason of stroke is a cerebral bleeding, an immediate intervention carried out at the shortest possible time to reduce the pressure of hemorrhage and drain the blood out, can save the life of the patient and shorten the time of treatment.It is also stated in the release that the most common reason of strokes is the blockage of veins of brain (ischemic cerebrovascular disease) and the reason of blockage is a blood clod.
